favorite thrift finds
One of my go-to places when I’m looking for used furniture is Habitat for Humanity Restore. They have great used furniture pieces. Also sell new items like tile, doors or other construction materials.
Last time I was there I found a vintage stool that I loved. It had a tag with a price of $150. Fortunately, the manager saw me looking at the stool and asked me if I need help. She told me that price was not theirs, they came from an open house. And she prices the stool for $5! Whaaat?
I was so happy because I knew this piece is perfect for adding a little vintage touch next to a bathtub or use it as a side table. There are endless possibilities with this piece.
The small crack on the top is so cool too.

The “struggle” that creatives go through when choosing paint colors. I felt encouraged to read about Emily’s journey right after I have shared with you my paint mistakes in yesterday’s post.
The book I’m reading right now. If you struggle with self-doubt and negative self-talk like I do, this is a great book to read or listen.
This is my favorite documentary about starting a farm.
This is one of the most inspiring interior designers that I follow. She changed her career after discovering her love for design. She then finished the same interior design course I’m taking right now. I love her books too and her personality is contagious!
If you are an old house junkie this is the website where you can find your next treasure.
For those of you who think (aka my husband) that a laundry doesn’t need to be beautiful, check this out.
This color if following me everywhere! I must incorporate it somehow in our house!
