I’ve decided to start a series of blog posts every Friday called Casual Friday Favorites!
It’s going to be all about thrift finds, sharing my favorite designers and interesting articles that uplift and encourage us to follow our passions.
Here’s goes my first one!
favorite thrift finds
A few weeks ago I went to some garage sales and found some cute copper and brass kitchen utensils for $1 a piece! I am so happy with this find because I planned to start a collection of copper kitchen pots and accessories, but I got quickly discouraged when I saw how much new ones cost.
So I rely on thrifting as my source for my new collection and this time I hit the jackpot. After leaving the first place, I crossed the street to another garage sale and I spotted another copper item! I couldn’t believe my eyes, $3!
It looks like a tea pot or something similar. Regardless, I love it!
I went on Etsy to see if I can find similar and I did. The utensils cost over $100 and you can see them here. I couldn’t find a similar one, but there are very cute ones ranging from $40 to $100.
