My name is Gabi Gatea and interior design is my passion. Together with my family we moved to US a little over three years ago and I decided to follow my dream.
Together with my husband Mike we love renovating old houses and maximizing the potential in any space. With his construction background and my passion for design we plan on renovating our home and helping others on this journey as well.
Also, I started this blog to share inspiration, sources and my opinions about all things related to home.

I love casual spaces because I think informal, comfortable and relaxed spaces are what make us feel at home. The kind of spaces that invite you to put your feet up and have a great conversation with friends. The type of home that even guests feel relaxed in, where everything works as a perfect background for your memories.
Casual is that happy feeling when you open the door, where the space inspires you and represents your style and your needs.
Timeless
There are many available options these days for home furnishings and decor, but not everything is timeless. Trendy pieces are fun and serve us for short periods of times. But when it comes to the big investment pieces, like kitchen cabinets and countertops, bathroom tile or that expensive sectional in the living room, no one wants to have to replace those in a couple of years.
My purpose is to help you make the right choices when in comes to these long term decisions. Invest money in things that are going to be more beautiful with the passing of time. I am here to help you create spaces that feel collected, personal and time-proof.
